Fire engineers design and provide advice on both new buildings and buildings undergoing refurbishment in fire safety measures. Their role is to help protect life, property and the wider environment from risk of fire and to help ensure that projects meet industry codes and legislative requirements.
Qualifications
To join as a Fire Engineer at various levels you should have one of the following given qualifications. Diploma courses in Fire Engineering of durations varying from 3 months to 2 years offered by private institutes. BE in Fire Engineering of duration 3-1/2/4 years.
